Head Coach - David Devaney
David has been involved in coaching and hockey instruction for nearly ten years. David spent three seasons playing with the South Side Athletic Club (SSAC) with his final season at the Minor Midget AAA level. David began coaching the following season and spent five years with SSAC at the Minor Midget AA, Bantam AA and Bantam AAA levels. David then began coaching in the Hockey Super League and is entering his third year in the league and second consecutive year with the Saints Pro Hockey Academy. David has earned several Hockey Alberta coaching certifications including several specializing in skill development and has had the opportunity to work with several mentors with experiences in the Team Canada National Program, NHL, NCAA, and CIS which has helped him grow into the coach he is today.
Assistant Coach - Scott Pugnor
Spent four seasons with the South Side Athletic Club with his last season at the Midget AAA level. Scott declined several junior A opportunities to pursue his academics following his final season with SSAC. Scott has spent the last four years working as an instructor at the Mount Caramel Hockey Academy instructing individual skill development.
Assistant Coach - Sebastien Roy
Spent three seasons with the Maple Leaf Athletic Club with his last season at the Bantam AAA level. Sebastien will be entering his third season as a coach where he previously coached with the River City Rhinos and the Jr Oil Kings. Sebastien brings knowledge and experience of the skills required to succeed at the elite levels of hockey and an undoubted passion for the game.
Assistant Coach - Joel Royer
Joel is entering his 3rd season as a coach. Joel has previously coached in the HSL with the River City Rhinos and is entering his second consecutive season with the SPHA program. Joel has also seen time as a head coach with the Jr Oil Kings spring program. Joel is a very welcomed addition to the coaching staff and brings HSL coaching experience with the development orientated mindset of the SPHA program.
